Projects 2008
Thanks to all the schools, students and artists, Its been an exciting year so far and I feel I have learnt a lot working on the different enjoyable and challenging projects with children and young people in Leicestershire and Derbyshire.

Dream Space - Creative Partnerships
Working with Brackensdale primary school

The school was particularly interested in using the outside areas as a place in which curriculum learning could take place, and as part of the project we we created a portable structure called the dream space, a colourful fun space in which imagination was encouraged and dreams and ideas could be explored.
We also used maps and music to link the different areas and classrooms of the school and as part of this we created a sound garden in which the children made sound sculptures and the garden area was developed.

This was a really enjoyable project, we all had a lot of fun with many creative learning opportunities.

Activities:  Dream space structure; Sound Garden; Mapping the school; Stories; Music; Recording; Performance
